Local Government Achievement Award Application

If you are a NYCOM member and you have undertaken a significant and innovative project that  has improved the quality of life in your community, we encourage you to participate in this program. Additional consideration will be given to those projects that demonstrate shared services and increasing efficiency in government. Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Projects must be substantially completed by the date the application is filed.

Winning submissions will be recognized by NYCOM at an awards dinner during NYCOM's 105th Annual Meeting in Saratoga Springs, highlighted in an upcoming issue of the NYCOM Municipal Bulletin, featured in the Best Practices portion of the NYCOM website, recognized by the National League of Cities (NLC) with a certificate, and included in NLC's Examples Database nationwide.
