National Fitness Campaign Grants

In Partnership with National Fitness Campaign, MVP Health Care Announces Grants to Build Outdoor Fitness Courts

Grant funding is available for municipalities of all sizes across the state to build outdoor fitness courts in partnership with the National Fitness Campaign (NFC). NFC’s initiative is now planning its 500th Healthy Community in America and is poised to deliver vital outdoor wellness programs helping to fight the obesity epidemic across the country.

If you are not yet familiar with the campaign, the program is designed to bring world-class healthy infrastructure to public spaces with the Fitness CourtⓇ, along with consulting, funding and community programming support. You can click to watch their 3-minute Campaign Video.

Through our partnership with NFC, NYCOM  is pleased to provide priority access to application briefings for our members across New York who may be interested in qualifying for funding and partnership. Funding is now available for the remainder of 2023 and 2024 site partners on a first come first serve basis so we encourage those interested to apply as soon as possible. The briefing is a 30-minute Zoom call that will qualify your community for a feasibility study and grant application.
