2012 Legislative Priorities

LET NY WORK AGENDA

  • Make the Pension System Predictable and Affordable
  • Redefine Compulsory Arbitration
  • Reduce the Costs of Construction on Public/Private Projects
  • When Contracts Expire, Freeze Step Increase
  • Establish Minimum Health Insurance Contributions Level for Employees and Retirees
  • No New Mandates

  • Amend the Property Tax Cap
  • Maintain CHIPS Funding
  • Amend Village Dissolution Process

  • Reinstate the 3% Employee Pension Contribution
  • Reform the Base and Administrative Process of the Utility Gross Receipts Tax
  • Create and Enhance Tools to Address Abandoned Property and Downtown Redevelopment
