About NYCOM

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is a special category of the New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials (NYCOM) membership.  It allows individuals, firms, associations, and private corporations not otherwise eligible for NYCOM membership to take advantage of many of the services NYCOM provides to its regular municipal members.  Applications for Associate Membership are carefully screened by our Executive Committee. Thus, our members are assured that those who are given Associate Membership status and utilize NYCOM are working in the best interests of New York State's cities and villages.

As an Associate Member of NYCOM, you will receive the following benefits:

  • You will receive one subscription of NYCOM's bimonthly publication, Municipal Bulletin, free of charge;
  • The officers and employees of your firm may register at NYCOM meetings, training schools, and other functions at the reduced rate charged to NYCOM members;
  • Recognition in the annual Directory of City and Village Officials;
  • Highlighted on the NYCOM Web site with a direct link to your firm's web site;
  • Your firm is entitled to a 10% discount on advertising and participation in NYCOM sponsored events; and
  • Use of the official NYCOM Associate Member logo - a valuable tool when marketing to cities and villages.
